Today my dear friend Kim shared with me that God has been doing some amazing things in their families lives! Last Friday night, her husband took their daughter on a very special date….to a Purity Ball.

What is a Purity Ball?

This Christ-centered event is designed to encourage and support the father/daughter relationship, facilitate discussion and prayer, strengthen their relationship and provide them with an avenue to commit themselves to living a pure life.

Kim describes the event –“They had it all decorated in white, they had white roses, gave one to each girl and they in turn rededicated their lives to Christ by putting the rose on a cross up front. The dad's were given the key to the daughter's heart, which he is to give to her husband to be on the wedding day. They had a father daughter dance, had some dance lessons....took pictures of each pair, and the daughter received her purity ring. They had a couple speakers that were just awesome I guess. They had a fancy supper.”
