Day #3 - My Traveling Diary!

Pam's Frolic ONLY-

Each day of our Company visit has been AWESOME! We have been in incredible meetings and those who know me best will understand this statement when I say, "I laughed and I cried!" Of course all tears where tears of joy (tee-hee)!

Certainly one of the best parts of today was having a two hour lunch with some of our dear Business Associates in the Artistry Marketing Dept.! Barb (to my right) heads up a Team of Women that Scott and I have tremendous respect for! It has been an honor to be associated with these women of excellence! What a blessing to call each one of them - friend!

As this day comes to a close we get ready to leave Michigan, grateful for every moment of the past three days!
Now our hearts turn to Washington D.C. where we are headed to visit our family! Visiting our daughter, our son-in-law, our two granddaughters and our new baby Grandson (for the 1st time). Yipeeeeeeeeee!!! Let the adventure continue..............

Day #2 - My Traveling Diary!

Pam's Frolic ONLY-

Wow....another memorable day in Michigan! We spent the entire day at our Company Headquarters, meeting with our amazing Business Associates. These people are dedicated to excellence and are passionate about helping others to succeed.

What a blessing to work along side so many people that have a "Winning" attitude about life!

It's inspiring to be with people that are excited about what they are doing with their life!

It was just too busy to take a lot of "Kodak Moments" today (tee-hee). Yet, Scott made sure I had a picture with our dear friend Angie.

Wow......I sure love and respect this dear girlfriend!
"Ability is what you're capable of doing... Motivation determines what you do. But attitude determines how well you do it."
Angie is one of those special lady's that looks at a mountain (a challenge) and has learned to enjoy the climb! It's a blessing to call her - my friend!

Day #1 - My Traveling Diary

Pam's Frolic ONLY-

Well it's just Day #1 of our "Two Week Journey" but it has been a blast!
We arrived early this morning and checked into the gorgeous Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, MI. Scott went out for his 14 mile run through this City's beautiful parks! I enjoyed all the comforts of the beautiful Indoor Hotel Health Club. Yes, I admit I'm a "girly-girl"(tee-hee)!

As we waited in the Hotel Lobby to be picked up for Dinner:
Scott walked up to a total stranger and started a conversation, but this is NORMAL for my husband. Moments into this conversation Scott turns to me and says, "Pam, don't YOU recognize this man? He's Bill Kristal, a Commentary on Fox News...everyday!"

After we spent a few brief minutes together.......it was easy to talk him into letting me take his picture with Scott. I think he just thought we were a "little" bit crazy (tee-hee)!

Still having a little time on my hands (our ride had not arrived yet) I decided to head into one of the Hotel Gift Shops. There I saw a display case that made me feel right at home....... Then our wonderful Hosts arrived-
And we were excited to spend the entire evening in their loving care! Jim has been a special Business Associate for many years but tonight was the first time we were able to meet his adorable wife, Charise.
It was such a blessing to hear about their three little son's, their commitment to marriage and their excitement to grow as Christians! What a quality couple!
Tonight was so special.....I wasn't ready for it to end! God just showed me another "on fire" sister-in-Christ......and we could have talked all night, we almost did (tee-hee)!
*P.S. - The food was amazing too, I have no idea exactly what we were eating (words I couldn't even pronounce)....but it was delicious!

HELP NEEDED: "Professional Packer" for hire???

Pam's Frolic ONLY -

Tonight we leave on a two week trip and I wish I could have hired a "Professional Packer" (suitcase packer) to make my day easier! I love to travel......I just do NOT enjoy getting ready to travel, crazy I know!

Some of you might relate to my frustration (tee-hee)!

1st - I packed one suitcase with all the Vitamins and Healthy Snacks I could possible consume! Measuring cup, knife, silverware and of course the FOOD. This is only for back up because we always eating out!

2nd - I sat that suitcase by our front door and began packing several more suitcases full of clothes. Plus - of course I will have several hanging bags too! I do not buy into the theory that "less is more" when traveling!

Lastly - I always pray that Scott will still love me....as he maneuvers all my bags toward the car! That he will continue to put up with this flaw in my character (tee-hee)!

Yes - we are both totally exhausted (tee-hee) from this ordeal but now the fun begins! We are so excited to get on the road and have quality time together!
We are headed to Michigan to spend three incredible days at our Company Headquarters! Enjoying great time with awesome Business Associates and dear friends. Talking business and breaking bread together, OK....more than bread! :-)
The fourth day - we travel on to Washington D.C. to see our New Grandson, yipeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Oh yeh.......my camera is packed! So get ready to see pictures from my Traveling Diary!
Got to run now! Scott's honking the horn (tee-hee)!!!!!! We're headed EAST!

Sept. 11, 2001 was not the end of the journey!

Pam’s Page 23 – “Family Life”
Dearest Blogging Sisters-

You say you will never forget September 11, 2001 - neither will I. That was the day our son-in-law decided (45 minutes after the towers were hit) to go back into the Military and be apart of the solution to fight these terrorists!

Little did I know then – how perfect that calling was for Tony's life, he’s an awesome Soldier called by God. The Military is blessed to have him! We are so very proud of him!
Little did I know then – how much different our lives would be, no longer having our entire family living in the same town…..missing that daily interaction. Longing to hug our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren! Stretching this Mothers heart.
Life is full of change - and God is always in the hearts of the believer, comforting and assuring them that we are never alone! He can take us through anything! He guides our every path and renews our joy daily!
I read this 9/11 tribute today and had to share with all of you……..
'MEET ME IN THE STAIRWELL'
You say you will never forget where you were when you heard the news On September 11, 2001. Neither will I.

I was on the 110th floor in a smoke filled room with a man who called his wife to say 'Good-Bye.' I held his fingers steady as he dialed. I gave him the peace to say, 'Honey, I am not going to make it, but it is OK..I am ready to go.'

I was with his wife when he called as she fed breakfast to their children. I held her up as she tried to understand his words and as she realized he wasn't coming home that night.

I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor when a woman cried out to Me for help. 'I have been knocking on the door of your heart for 50 years!' I said. 'Of course I will show you the way home - only believe in Me now.'

I was at the base of the building with the Priest ministering to the injured and devastated souls. I took him home to tend to his Flock in Heaven. He heard my voice and answered.

I was on all four of those planes, in every seat, with every prayer. I was with the crew as they were overtaken. I was in the very hearts of the believers there, comforting and assuring them that their faith has saved them.

I was in Texas , Virginia , California , Michigan , Afghanistan ...

I was standing next to you when you heard the terrible news. Did you sense Me?

I want you to know that I saw every face. I knew every name - though not all know Me. Some met Me for the first time on the 86th floor.

Some sought Me with their last breath. Some couldn't hear Me calling to them through the smoke and flames; 'Come to Me... this way... take my hand.' Some chose, for the final time, to ignore Me. But, I was there.

I did not place you in the Tower that day. You may not know why, but I do. However, if you were there in that explosive moment in time, would you have reached for Me?

Sept. 11, 2001, was not the end of the journey for you. But someday your journey will end. And I will be there for you as well. Seek Me now while I may be found. Then, at any moment, you know you are 'ready to go.'

I will be in the stairwell of your final moments!

- God
*Amen, Amen and Amen........

Pam’s Page 22 – “Finances”
Hello Girlfriends-

I am pulling for you - to experience the freedom that comes from building your thriving home-based business.

I’m praying for you – to make it a Top Priority to take time for yourself as well as time to nurture your relationships with friends & family!

I’m believing in you – that you will learn to enjoy each step on your journey to create the life you love.

For me to create the life I’m wanting - it has required using my time wisely; continually praying for wisdom and discernment; and always seeking wise council from my husband and other mentors in my life!

As this relates to your business-Wise mentors will help you to work your business SMART not just HARD! If you take and apply their council your efforts will be multiplied!

As this relates to your Customer Profits-My mentors have showed me how to multiply my Customer Base and help others to do the same! One smart choice is in fact – Home Based Product Party’s! These party’s offer great benefits when it comes to building the Customer Base portion of your business.
So what are some of the benefits of having these parties?

--You can host the party or have a customer or prospect host a party.
--Parties lend themselves to products women already use in our homes.
--It’s a great way to make new contacts, acquire new customers, build a good reputation and establish relationships in the community. It’s a wonderful way to network … and maybe schedule more parties!
--You can present and sell products to several people at once so it’s effective as well as efficient. It saves time and money!
--It’s a wonderful way to learn more about the guests and introduce them to other products beyond those you share at the party; scheduling Follow-Up appointments.
--A party at someone’s house is like a girls’ night out or a couple’s celebration … it’s fun for all and memorable, most importantly, for the hostess and guests. It’s also a more relaxed, comfortable setting which inspires even more shopping and buying.
>>>TAKING ACTION>>>
“Be doers of the Word, and not hearers only.” (James 1:22)
Choose at least one action you can take to move your Customer Base toward a Party Plan so you can multiply your business efforts and maximize your time!

Write it down, commit to it, and start today!

Surprising - Blessing a friend is always fun!

Pam’s Page 23 - “Friendship”
There are lots of things I love. In addition to the obvious - family, friends, meaningful conversations, eating, swimming, and eating some more……I also love to surprise people on their Birthdays. It’s fun to do these simple acts of kindness!

Friday night Scott and I went out to Bennigan’s Restaurant with dear friends and business associates. We had just missed one of their Birthdays……so I had Birthday Napkins and a Musical Card hidden in my purse!

After a fabulous supper, the waitress brought out a Special Bakers Square Pie…..I had dropped off earlier in the day. Our dear friend Tim (the Birthday Boy) was so surprised, he grinned ear-to-ear. Yummmmmmmmmy!

However, the real fun surprise was when all the staff filed out of the kitchen singing “Happy, Happy Birthday!”

Hmmm...as I recall we all watched Tim turn about 7 shades of red (tee-hee)! It was the perfect ending to a perfect day……blessing a dear friend!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:I know that Jesus asks us to do random acts of kindness in secret...so...let's think about those sweet times someone randomly did something special for us.

Oh how these seemingly small tasks have touched me more than I could ever totally express.

I've had friends randomly:
-buy me a book
-call me just to say 'hi' and hear my voice, then do it again the next day
-tell me that, “You inspire me!
-help me carry things to my car
-listen to me ramble and ramble some more (tee-hee)
-help me organize a function, with out being asked

AND... I even had one friend who told me that I was beautiful in a birthday card. That's all she wrote – “Pam, you are beautiful, inside and out.” Her random act of kindness through her written words stayed in my heart for months. Months I tell you! Imagine that. I am beautiful inside and out! That was back in March, and I'm still feeling pretty!

So why wait. I think that today is a good day for us to do something very random and very kind.

For someone. For anyone. Just because.

It's the perfect way to spread the light and love of Jesus.

It's what makes a house a HOME!

It's what makes a house a HOME!

We are in each others LIFE for a reason!

We are in each others LIFE for a reason!
